Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the world's largest Bhagavad Gita at the ISKCON Temple in Delhi on Tuesday.
After performing an aarti and rituals in the temple, he addressed the gathering about the significance of the sacred text.
Dubbed the ''Astounding Bhagavad Gita'', and measuring 2.8 m by 2 m, it is billed as the "largest principle sacred text ever to be printed," according to ISCKON. The tome runs into 670 pages and weighs 800 kg.

PM Modi travelled to the temple via the Delhi Metro. In the visuals of his commute other passengers in the train can be seen to be an ebullient mood. PM Modi interacts with them, and even speaks to some very young children enroute.
