Akshay Kumar is set to give the citizens a ‘breather’ amid elections and politics in a ‘completely non-political' conversation with the PM, that is set to be unveiled on Wednesday.

A day back, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar hitting out a cryptic tweet had revealed that he was getting into an "unknown and uncharted territory". While many speculated that he would be joining politics, the actor finally revealed his plans after seven hours. Perhaps the first time, he is essaying the role of an interviewer and he is interviewing none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In a video released by the actor, he can be seen asking PM Modi how he manages to get through the day with just three hours of sleep. To this, the Prime Minister replied saying, “Whenever I meet Obama, he also asks me the same thing. He asks me why I do this. Every time he meets me, he asks me if I have started sleeping more or not.”

Meanwhile, during the interview, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also shared an extraordinary anecdote about West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Adding that this might amaze everyone, he revealed that Mamata Banerjee sends Kurtas and Bengali sweets to him every year. Read here:

"You will be amazed, Mamata Didi, even now, selects one-two kurtas and send to me each year. Also, sweets as well. I had spoken about Bengali sweets to Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina, during my visit, so, even now, she sends me new Bengali sweets especially from Dhaka three-four times in a year. Then after Mamata Didi came to know about it, she also sends Bengali sweets to me once a year."

The Prime Minister was asked several light-hearted questions, in fact hilariously he was is he likes eating mangoes or not. To which, he replied saying, "Main aam khaata hoon, pasand bhi hai. Gujarat mein toh aam ras ka riwaaz bhi hai." 

"Hum log khet mein jaakar khaatey thhay. Bharat ka jo kisaan hai woh bahot udaar hai. Kabhi manaa nahin kartey thhay. Uss samay toh hygiene ka sense bhi nahin thha.", he added.
