"Saugandh Mujhe iss mitti ke, mai desh nahi mitne dunga...", said Prime Minister Modi while addressing the people of India after Indian Air Force conducted a pre-emptive strike on JeM terror camps, destroying 3 pods, neutralising more than 245 on-foot soldiers and terrorists in just a matter of 21 minutes on Tuesday.
While addressing a rally in Rajasthan's churu, PM Modi asserted that "the nation is in safe hands".
"Friends, let's begin by saluting Bharat Mata. Bharat Mata ke Jai. I assure you that the nation is in safe hands. "I can very well understand the feelings and enthusiasm of each and every person today. Today, let us all salute the bravehearts of India. Let's bow down our hearts in their honour. From the soil of Churu, I want to assure each and everyone that the country is in secure hands".
While celebrating the victory of Indian armed forces, Prime Minister Modi repeated the same poetry that he recited in 2014:
"While addressing the Vijay Shankhnad Yuva Sangam, I had spoken my heart. I am talking about 2014. Today, I want to repeat it again. From Churu, I want to recite those share words to salute the brave soldiers".
"Saugandh mujhe iss mitti ke, mai desh nahi rukne dunga
Mai desh nahi rukne deunga, mai desh nahi jhukne dunga
Mera vachan hai bharat ko tera shesh nahi jhukne dunga
Saugandh mujhe iss mitti ke, mai desh nahi rukne dunga
Jag raha hai desh mera haar bharat vaasi jetaga
Saugandh mujhe iss mitti ke, mai desh nahi rukne deunga
Hume phir se dhorana hai aur khud ko yaad delana hai
na bhatkege na atkenge kuch bhi ho mai desh nahi mitne dunga"
Earlier, the top sources have told Republic TV that Prime Minister Modi supervised the operation as he was present in the situation room at South block during the strike. Here are the full details of how the IAF prepared and carried out the pre-dawn strike crushing Pak terror camps to the pulp, as per top sources:
The reported strike comes days after the Pulwama attack, where 40 CRPF personnel were killed. Pakistan-based terror outfit JeM had claimed responsibility for the attack. The incident has escalated tensions between the two neighbours, with New Delhi vowing to take stern action against Islamabad.
