WATCH: Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Responds To Asaduddin Owaisi's 'not Neutral' Remark On His Appointment To Ayodhya Mediation Panel

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday questioned the appointment of spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in the three-member panel to mediate in the Ayodhya title suit case. Addressing the reporters during his visit to Uttarakhand's Pant Nagar, Sri Sri responded to Asaduddin Owaisi's remarks on his appointment.

Responding to the appointment of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in the panel of mediators, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi questioned the spiritual leader, saying he is not a neutral person. Addressing a press briefing, Owaisi went on to rake up a statement made by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in November 2018 over the Ayodhya dispute. 

"Sri Sri Ravi Shankar who has been appointed a mediator had earlier made a statement 'if Muslims don't give up their claim on Ayodhya, India will become Syria'. It would've been better if SC had appointed a neutral person,"

Sri Sri has been appointed as one of the panel members for the court-monitored mediation, along with panel chairman Retired Supreme Court Justice Kalifulla and Sriram Panchu. Reacting to his appointment, he had taken to Twitter and wrote:
