Republic Media Network crew along with other crew from the media were attacked by a mob on Monday outside the site of the raids which were being carried in the house of AICC member SM Moin in South Delhi.
Republic Media Network spoke to a female reporter who was attacked by the mob.
The reporter said that the mob which had come in large number pushed and chased her away. She also said that the mob misbehaved with her and used abusive language.
The reporter also said felt helpless as the police or the large crowd which had gathered did not come to her rescue.
"I was inside to cover the news based but their people came in a huge number and they pushed and chased me away. I tried to call the police but they took the phone and tried to break it. They also used abusive language the kind, I can't even mention here.
"I was feeling helpless as the police was present and yet they did not come to help me. I feel the mob tried to give the entire episode a communal colour in order to stop the media from covering the incident," she said.
Republic Media Network found that the Congress administrative officer is under the scanner for receiving Rs 20 crores from Bhopal, pertaining to which the authorities of the income tax department are conducting raids at his residence. Congress senior leader Ahmed Patel rushed to his house.

Later in the night, the mob attack on the crew of Republic Media Network happened. In the visuals of the incident, reporter Amit Bharadwaj can be seen being subjected to constant aggression by numerous persons seemingly intent on not allowing him to do his job. They engaged in the use of profanities and expletives and kept pushing and standing in his way. Shouting hysterically, they resorted to shoving and other physically threatening behaviour several times.
