Update at 2:53 PM: Pakistan Army violates ceasefire along the Line of Control in the Digwar sector in Poonch district. Heavy shelling has started, with the Indian forces is retaliating effectively

Pakistan has continued its run of rampantly violating the ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir, giving away how panicked it after India's strike on its terror bases and thwarting of its counter-attack.

The latest set of ceasefire violations took place in the Sunderbani sector of Rajouri district - also incidentally where the Pakistan Air Force attempted its intrusion into Indian airspace in an effort to attack India's military installations.

In videos accessed by Republic TV, sounds of gunfire and shelling can be clearly made out in the mountains. The Indian security forces have been giving Pakistan an effective response for its provocation.

As of Monday, Pakistan had violated the ceasefire as many as 45 times since the February 26 air strike by the Indian Air Force on Pakistan's terror bases across the LoC.

Pakistan's cowardly transgressions have also routinely targeted India's civilians, causing casualties and spreading death and destruction. In Poonch, a 9-month-old, a 5-year-old and their mother were tragically killed in one of Pakistan's ceasefire violations. Indian security forces have made heroic endeavours to keep civilians safe, taking enormous risks to defuse unexploded Pakistan shells and explosives or detonate them in a controlled manner.

The construction of a large number of bunkers for civilians has been approved in the Poonch sector given a cornered Pakistan's various designs.

On Monday, Pakistan's air force chief Mujahid Anwar Khan visited forward operating bases at the front, meeting combat and ground crew as well as other personnel. The panicky visit came after India's Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa made an 'ongoing operation' mention during his press briefing in Coimbatore, where he also confirmed that the Pakistani terror base in Balakot had been hit, silencing those who had politicised the strike.
