An Uttarakhand Police official is winning hearts across social media after they uploaded a video from their Twitter handle. In the video, the Police Jawan can be saving a person from Ganga River who drifted away with the flow of the water.

As per reports, Vishal, a resident of Haryana stepped down in the river from Kangra Ghat to take a holy dip. Everything was fine until the young man lost his balance and slipped. Things turned worse when Vishal started drifting away from the shore because of the vibrant and a strong water force of the river. Vishal by this time had lost control and continued to float away with no chances of being saved.

Onlookers present at the ghat were clueless about how to save the man's life. That's when an alert police Jawan stepped up and volunteered to save the man. Donning a lifejacket, the official jumped in and made his way to through the flow of the water. Thanks to Sunny's efforts, Vishal's life was saved.

"Haryana resident Vishal had gone to take bath at Haridwar's Kangra Ghat when he slipped off and started flowing away with the strong current of Ganga River. That's when Uttarakhand Police Jawan Sunny noticed him. Sunny wasted no time and jumped in the river and saved Vishal."
