BJP MLA on Mamata Banerjee's NRC stance

Mamata Banerjee had earlier led a mega protest rally in Kolkata against the implementation of the National Register of Citizens (NRC). The rally was held against the NRC list in Assam in which names of more than 19 lakh people did not feature. Mamata Banerjee has been a critic of the NRC and has been questioning the agenda of the Government behind it from the time the plan was announced by the Government in the Centre. Singh stated that Banerjee's intentions were to conduct politics by protecting the illegal immigrants in Bengal. As a consequence, she does not want the centre to implement NRC in the state. Furthermore, he added that even the people of Lanka did not allow Hanuman ji yet he still managed. In a similar comparison, he stated that Amit Shah and Yogi Adityanath have entered the state of West Bengal and have managed to get a lot of seats there. He also added that as a consequence, he is confident about the change of power in the state in the upcoming elections.
