As the country withstands the heatwave which has raised the temperature to 50-degree celsius in several parts of India, Omar Abdullah on Thursday tweeted about the weather in Srinagar, which was relatively cooler than the rest of the country.

The former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister posted a photo of his car's dashboard which showed that the temperature in the capital of the state was 18-degree celsius, showing that the weather was lower than what it is in many regions in the country but higher for the city itself.

While many acknowledged Abdullah's better fortune in the current situation, several of them quickly noticed that the National Conference leader still used an iPod.
