Why we love J&K Governor Satya Pal Malik's snubbing of Farooq Abdullah over the Trump mediation lie

After the Kashmiri regional politicians latched onto US President Donald Trump's fictitious statement over Kashmir dispute alongside Imran Khan at the Oval Office on Monday, the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir accentuated that 'PM Modi would never do such a thing' further dissed Farooq Abdullah's statement saying 'he speaks half the time for Pakistan and another half for India'
He said, "Farooq Abdullah can say anything, I'm not sure about him. He says something else after every 5 minutes. But I know my Prime Minister, he can never say, he did not say. Farooq Abdullah speaks for Pakistan half the time, India half the time. I know my Prime Minister, my government. In Kashmir, no sort of mediation will be accepted by India. We never accepted and we never will.
Furthermore, reiterated that Kashmir is an integral part of India and that the Simla Agreement of 1972 was made by Congress party.
"Kashmir is an integral part of India, and there would be no discussion over it. The Simla Agreement was done by Congress, we did not do it. The Simla Agreement says that there would be a dialogue between the two parties, the same is in the Lahore Agreement. They should know who is Narendra Modi, he would never do such a thing," he added.
The NC chief buying into Trump's blatant lie called it a 'matter of happiness' and congratulated PM Modi for 'seeking some help,' despite the MEA spokesperson and the External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar categorically clarifying India's stand of 'no mediation over Kashmir' at the Parliament, putting a full stop to the controversy.
Farooq said, "It is a matter of happiness that when PM Modi talked to Trump he had told him that Kashmir issue is complex and if there can be some help it would be good. I congratulate Modi ji, he too wants to use everything to solve this issue that is creating tensions between India & Pakistan."
Meanwhile, a rift in opinion could be seen between the father and son duo over the issue, with a dicey party stand after Omar Abdullah opined that the US President was 'talking out of his hat.'
Personally I think @realDonaldTrump is talking out of his hat when he says @PMOIndia asked for US involvement in solving the Kashmir issue but I’d like to see @MEAIndia call Trump out on his claim. https://t.co/JRlH4mehrp

Meanwhile, Jaishankar at the Rajya Sabha said, "I would like to categorically ensure the House that no such request has been made by the Prime Minister to the US president. I reiterate no such request has been made to the US President. I would, Sir, also reiterate that it has been India's consistent position that all outstanding issue by Pakistan be discussed bilaterally. I would further underline that any engagement with Pakistan would require an end to cross border terrorism. Let me conclude by emphasising that Shimla agreement and Lahore declaration provide the basis for to resolve all issue between India and Pakistan bilaterally. I hope there won't be any confusion in anyone's mind."
People in the subcontinent are held hostage to the issue of Kashmir, I feel that only the most powerful state, headed by President Trump, can bring two countries together: IK
