AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi has launched a 'beef biryani' attack on BJP President Amit Shah while addressing a rally in Hyderabad.
Owaisi attacked Shah, for his comments where he said that K Chandrashekar Rao, the Telangana chief minister is sending biryani to Muslims in the state.
Addressing a gathering in Kukatpally, Hyderabad Owaisi said that he wasn't aware that Shah likes biryani, and further said that he will ask KCR to send some 'Kalyani biryani' ( a local name used for beef biryani)
He further made a remark on Prime Minister saying that Modi went to Pakistan to attend former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's daughter's wedding, who knows what he was fed there.
These remarks come ahead of Telangana-polls, with political parties heavily campaigning in the state to woo voters.
The 'biryani' fiasco is not new to the political sphere, as political parties campaign as on the 10th anniversary of 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attack, in which over 150 people were killed and more than 300 were injured, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday launched an attack on the Congress party while addressing a rally in Makrana in poll-bound Rajasthan. Yogi Adityanath targeted the Congress party for sympathizing with the terrorists who killed several civilians on that unfaithful day.
"Congress has always indulged into divisive and caste politics. And that is the reason why terrorism was at a peak in the country. You must be seeing that the terrorist to whom Congress once was feeding biryani, we are feeding them bullets now," he said while addressing the public of Rajasthan.
