Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shared a letter that was written to him by Sakshi Pradyumn, a student who recently scored the top rank in ISC Board exam. In the letter, Sakshi has written about how the Prime Minister's book, Exam Warriors, had helped him secure his astronomical marks.

Sakshi narrates:

Pranam!

I received an invaluable gift, "Exam Warriors", when my XII Board Examinations were about to start. The book was priceless as it not only gave me mantras to concentrate, relieve the stress, and increase confidence but also to be jovial even during tense moments of board examination and other competitive examinations. Your immaculate take on the elements of time management, presentation, efficiency, individuality, honing one's abilities, and perseverance infused immeasurable strength and optimism throughout. This provided the much-needed impetus to help me reach the peak student in me.

As you so beautifully quote, "Let us be warriors, not worriers"; I followed this principle to the hilt.

With your love and wishes I have scored 99.5% marks in ISC Board examination and hold Top Merit Position - 1st, with perfect score of 100 in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science and a 99 in Hindi and 98 in English.

I sincerely thank you for authoring such an eloquent book to guide youth.

Narendra Modi's Exam Warriors book was launched in February 2018 just weeks before students of Class 10 and 12 undertook crucial board exams. It was launched by Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar and EAM Sushma Swaraj and shortly after the launch, the Prime Minister held a large interaction with school students where he took questions from them.

Copies of Exam Warriors were also handed out to around 3100 employees from Railways and from Coal Ministry PSUs whose children were going to be taking board exams, by Union Minister Piyush Goyal, who is said to have borne the expenses for the books.

In the letters addressed to the employees and their children by name, Goyal had written "in recent times, the competitive nature of exams is causing more stress than satisfaction, and is taking its toll" and recommended the Prime Minister's book as a ready reckoner on how to deal with it."

"In his unique style, Prime Minister Modi has simplified complex issues into 25 simple mantras. The book helps students gain self-confidence and teaches them how to focus on the task at hand. It also guides parents on helping children discover their true potential... Prime Minister Modi speaks about honesty, forming bonds with our teachers, handling adverse situations to see them as opportunities and making a contribution to society."

"I am delighted to present this book to you as a personal souvenir for reading and encourage you to take out time for assimilating its lessons. I am confident that this will help everyone succeed not just in exams, but also in life. Wish you all the best, for your exams, and to quote Prime Minister Modi, 'let us be warriors, not worriers'," Piyush Goyal said in the letters.

Here's what the blurb of the book on e-commerce sites says:

"Exam Warriors by Narendra Modi is an inspiring book for the youth. Written in a fun and interactive style, with illustrations, activities and yoga exercises, this book will be a friend not only in acing exams but also in facing life. Non-preachy, practical and thought-provoking, Exam Warriors is a handy guide for students in India and across the world."
