ACCESSED: Ashish Pandey's "Help me" messages to friends after gun-toting altercation, even as supporters gather ahead of likely surrender

In a key development in the viral Delhi hotel gun-brandishing altercation case, the wielder of the weapon, BSP ex-MP's son Ashish Pandey, is believed to be on the verge of resurfacing and surrendering himself to police, even as an alleged WhatsApp message from him to his friends seeking their support has been accessed.

In a key development in the viral Delhi hotel gun-brandishing altercation case, the wielder of the weapon, BSP ex-MP's son Ashish Pandey, is believed to be on the verge of resurfacing and surrendering himself to police, even as an alleged WhatsApp message from him to his friends seeking their support has been accessed.

As per sources, Ashish Pandey is in New Delhi, where the altercation took place on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, and not Lucknow which is his home town. He is likely to surrender at the RK Puram police station, where his supporters have gathered. On Wednesday, a non-bailable warrant had been issued against him.

Furthermore, Republic TV has accessed a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation allegedly between Ashish Pandey and an unnamed friend where Pandey seeks support.
