A shocking lapse of security took place the Kerala Assembly on Wednesday as Congress MLA and former minister in the Oommen Chandy-led government Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan walked in with a used grenade shell in his hand.
As per Radhakrishnan, The grenade was used two days back by the police on Youth Congress workers as they were protesting against the alleged killing of a Congress activist by CPI(M) persons on February 13.
The incident allegedly took place at 12:23 pm during a discussion on the Home department. In the images accessed by Republic TV, Radhakrishnan, a senior Congress leader, can be seen holding up not one, but two grenade shells, seemingly using them to illustrate his point.
Almost simultaneously, neighbouring Karnataka also witnessed a massive security lapse as a man stabbed the Karnataka Lokayukta at the latter's office.
