A shootout took place in New Delhi's Rohini on Monday morning in which six people were injured, with a team of the Delhi Police Special cell apprehending five people alleged to be associates of a gang, wanted in two murder cases.
The encounter took place in Northwest Delhi as long-wanted gang members were intercepted on their way to eliminating a target. A trap was laid by the Delhi Special Cell and in the shootout that ensued, three persons of each side were injured. The police overpowered the two remaining vigilantes and arrested them. The gang boss in question, Neeraj Bawana, is already behind bars.
