Merely a day after BJP national president Amit Shah delivered his maiden address in the Rajya Sabha, PAAS leader Hardik Patel took to Twitter to respond to the address. In a tweet, the Patidar leader made references to the Judge Loya case and further accused the BJP government of diverting their attention from crucial issues.
Earlier on Monday, in his maiden address, BJP president Amit Shah highlighted that it was better to sell 'pakodas' than to be unemployed. "I think it is better to be a labourer or sell 'pakodas' than to be unemployed. There is no shame in selling 'pakodas'," he said.
During the course of his address, the BJP chief attacked the Congress over its chief Rahul Gandhi's "Gabbar Singh Tax" jibe along with former finance minister P Chidambaram's recent take on unemployment. Slamming the Congress, he asked, "The GST was implemented after everyone's consensus. Now they are naming it Gabbar Singh Tax. Who is Gabbar Singh? He was a dacoit in Bollywood film Sholay. So is it dacoity to levy government tax?"
