We have tried a lot to assemble every party trying to save the democracy. NDA is falling now. People are against NDA now. We have a 'Janta Gathbandhan'. People are against dictatorship. Even Chirag Paswan is not happy with NDA: Tejashwi Yadav ahead of the Bihar opposition meet
Days after quitting the NDA owing to the discontent over seat sharing in Bihar for the upcoming General elections, RLSP chief Upendra Kushwaha is set to attend the Bihar opposition meeting on Thursday, where he and his party are expected to join the Congress-led Mahagathbandhan.
This political development was confirmed by RJD's Tejashwi Yadav, who mentioned inviting Kushwaha for the opposition meet on Thursday afternoon.
"The meeting is in the evening, then everything will be clear. It is very obvious that we all are in an alliance, so regular meetings like these takes place. If something new happens, people will get to know....We have invited people in past too. If Upendra Kushwaha ji wants good for country, we've invited him. There have been attempts to crush regional parties, even LJP isn't happy with Modi ji's faction and that proves the fact," he told media.
After being offered only two Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, which came at a time when he was already miffed with Bihar CM Nitish Kumar for calling him 'neech', Kushwaha broke away from NDA and quit as Union Minister.
In the aftermath of his exit, he even met senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel and confirmed the possibility of him joining the Mahagathbandhan.
