Adding another asset to its armor ahead of the Telangana elections, BJP has roped in Swami Paripoornananda to elevate the party's position amongst the people in the state. Addressing the media in the National Capital, BJP President Amit Shah welcomed him to the party while showering praise at him.
He said, "Swami Paripoornananda has today become the member of BJP. He has a huge role in the work for society in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and south. He also represent a big legacy. Till today, his blessings were with us. Now today, Swamiji himself is with us. We believe him joining BJP will give the party huge gains in the south, especially Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. I welcome him to the party and believe him joining BJP will give us victory in Telangana."
After getting welcomed into the BJP, Swami Paripoornananda said that he wishes to work for the party all the time, and wishes to be a worker.
"Firstly, I wish happy Vijayadashmi to all the Indians. Today, I have joined the BJP and would like to say that I want to work along with Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Ram Madhav and other BJP people for the progress of the nation. This is my only motive, and I don't have any any tension because these people aren't tensed. So the work BJP is doing for the country and religion, and under the leadership and guidance of Amit Shah, I will also work put my best to spread the ideology for the party across the country. At any point of time if the party needs me, anywhere in the country, I will be available 24*7. I will give everything, I need nothing because Telugu people have given me a lot. Today I come into BJP as a worker under Amit Shah's leadership, and will remain as a worker," he added.
Swami Paripoornananda is no stranger to the state of Telangana. Police in the state earlier this year had ordered for an externment of the seer, claiming he had given provocative speeches, Though, the High Court stayed the order.
