All details of PM Modi's swearing-in: Huge turnout of world leaders, MPs, state CMs expected to attend

Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony as the Prime Minister of India which is to held on May 30 is expected to be attended by thousands of dignitaries from the Centre and the states. Chief Ministers of all states, State Unit Chiefs of BJP, State Ministers, present members of Parliament, former members of the Parliament have been invited for the oath-taking ceremony.

Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony as the Prime Minister of India which is to held on May 30 is expected to be attended by thousands of dignitaries from the Centre and the states. Chief Ministers of all states, state unit chiefs of BJP, state ministers, present members of Parliament, former members of the Parliament have been invited for the oath-taking ceremony.

Leaders from the member states of Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) namely Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Nepal and Bhutan are reportedly set to attend the event after PM-elect Modi, as per reports, extended an invitation to the ceremony which will be held in the Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi on Thursday. The president of Kyrgyzstan, Sooronbay Jeenbekov too has been extended an invitation for the ceremony, the reports said.

In a scoop by Republic Media Network, Superstar Rajinikanth and actor-turned-politician Kamal Hassan have reportedly been invited for the swearing-in of Narendra Modi for the second term.

While Rajinikanth had announced that he will decide about the name of his party after May 23 and will contest the Tamil Nadu assembly elections, Kamal Hassan's Makkal Nidhi Maiam (MNM) contested the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections 2019 but won no seats. 

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister-elect Jagan Mohan Reddy have also reportedly been invited for the ceremony. Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has also been invited to oath-taking ceremony. 

On Saturday, Prime Minister-elect Modi was appointed prime minister by President Ram Nath Kovind after he was unanimously elected NDA parliamentary party leader at a meeting in which he asked coalition members to work without discrimination, stressing on the need to win the trust of minorities. In the general election, he led the BJP-led NDA to a landslide victory with the alliance winning 353 seats, including an unprecedented 303 by the BJP.
