He also questioned whether it was arrogance that Gandhi was visiting her constituency so late adding that her son visited Wayanad just last week while not visiting his former constituency Amethi at all.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that Sonia Gandhi along with her daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra who is also the Congress General Secretary of UP East was visiting Raebareli for the first time after retaining her seat.

Days after the BJP registered a thumping victory in the Lok Sabha elections 2019 by bagging a massive 303 seats in the elections, Narendra Modi visited his constituency Varanasi from where he won with a margin of almost 4.8 lakh votes. His visit, being termed as "Thank You visit" as the Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the people for supporting him and his party and for reposing faith in him, also saw the re-elected PM remarking on some specific facets of the campaign.

After having offered prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath temple, Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked the BJP workers for their relentless efforts and hard work that led to the victory of the party.

Meanwhile, Congress president Rahul Gandhi who visited his new constituency Wayanad on Saturday after winning the seat by defeating LDF's P P Suneer by garnering 705034 votes. In his first visit after winning the seat, he addressed the Congress party workers and residents of Wayanad and expressed his gratitude assuring that he will raise the issues of Wayanad and Kerala at the Centre.
