As the election dates are inching its way into the state of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, Chief of the Bahujan Samaj Party, Mayawati, has launched an all-out attack on the two major parties in Indian politics i.e. the Congress and the BJP. While addressing a rally in Chhattisgarh, Mayawati first accused BJP of playing 'Hindu card politics' and then gave a clarion call to the ruling party. Ina fiery manner, Mayawati stated:

"BJP is only playing Hindu card. They are playing with the emotions of people of our country. They are only politicizing Ram Mandir issues. I want to say that even if they will build many Ram Mandir in the entire country apart from the main Ram Mandir in Ayodhya then only they will not win the hearts of people. Because they have been already exposed now in front of people. None should do politics over religion".

It's been a week since the BSP leader dumped Congress and decided to go solo for the elections. She clearly stated that "Congress wants to crush BSP’s movement and the party is doing natakbaazi". Continuing her unforgivable attack on Congress, Mayawati said:

"Congress is lying that due the to pressure of central agencies I did not indulge in Mahagathbandhan. This is a mere lie. Congress is defaming me by saying all these. But they will not succeed in their motives. People of Chhattishgarh, Rajasthan and MP are with us. Congress party is getting jealous of with the popularity of BSP in these poll-bound states. They are afraid of us."

Furthermore, she said that if BSP comes to power then Ajit Jogi will be sworn in as the Chief Minister.

"Congress won't like Ajit Jogi because he is a poor son from the Dalit Samaj. We will make him CM. People will make Ajit Jogi CM".

This comes after former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala said the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) will put in all efforts to ensure that Mayawati of the Bahujan Samaj Party becomes the country’s next Prime Minister. He expressed his resolve to make BSP supremo Mayawati while addressing a rally in Gohana to mark the 105th birth anniversary of senior INLD leader Devi Lal. The INLD leader said:

"We will work towards uniting the Opposition so that Mayawati becomes the next prime minister."
