Congress Issues Valentine's Day Double Attack; Targets Prime Minister Modi And V-Day Opponents

The Congress party, via its official Twitter handle, has launched a pair of Valentine's day Twitter attacks. The more recent one is on the Prime Minister, and the earlier one, on what appears to be a caricature of a Saffron-garbed opponent of Valentine's Day.

The attack on PM Modi consists of a video message. The tweet line reads "Dear Mr. Modi: A very happy #ValentinesDay from us to you 🙂". The video begins with "Dear Mr Modi...", and proceeds to implore him over a number of themes. 

The other attack, meanwhile, shows two disconsolate looking cartoon youngsters holding red hearts seated at either end of a thick moustache of a larger-than-life figure. The man is wearing a Saffron scarf.

The message reads: This day and every day, we hope that love continues to win over hate. #ValentinesDay #JanKiBaat

Earlier in the day, Jignesh Mevani had launched a similar twin-attack using Valentine's Day as the pretext
