Congress leader Shatrughan Sinha wishes Patna Sahib rival Ravi Shankar Prasad on taking oath as Union Minister, wishes PM Modi and his team for their new term

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the new set of Union ministers took oath on Thursday, at the forecourt of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Congress leader Shatrughan Sinha who switched sides from BJP when denied the Patna Sahib Lok Sabha ticket, has congratulated the Prime Minister and his entire team on taking oath.

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the new set of Union ministers took oath on Thursday, at the forecourt of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Congress leader Shatrughan Sinha who switched sides from BJP when denied the Patna Sahib Lok Sabha ticket, has congratulated the Prime Minister and his entire team on taking oath.

Naming a few more incoming Lok Sabha MPs like Amit Shah, Manoj Sinha, Kirti Azad, Sumalatha, Smriti Irani, Nityanand Rai, Arvind Sawant, Nakul Nath, Shashi Tharoor, Manoj Tiwari, Kiren Rijiju, Ravi Kishan, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Nitin Gadkari, Hema Malini, he wished them all best wishes for their new term in the lower parliamentary house.

Apart from the above-mentioned names, he also wished his rival for the Patna Sahib Lok Sabha seat, Ravi Shankar Prasad calling him a 'Bhodrlog'- i.e gentleman.

Prime Minister Modi took the oath for the post at 7 PM in the evening on May 30 at the foreground of the Rashtrapati Bhavan where 8000 guests including foreign dignitaries were present. Apart from the above guests, VVIPs, state Chief Ministers, state unit chiefs of BJP, state ministers, present members of Parliament, former members of the Parliament and other special guests are currently attending the ceremony.

A few who are absent from the evening's proceedings are Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, Telangana Chief KC Rao, Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, and Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan.
