Hack:

  • Congress MP and Rahul's close aide Divya Spandana tweeted a 'POT' attack on PM Modi on Sunday
  • Now, on Monday, official Twitter handle of the INC, claimed that ‘Chinese deployment in Tibet is increasing at an alarming rate'

Merely a day after the Congress social media head and Karnataka leader Divya Spandana Ramya, stirred a controversy with the appalling ‘pot attack,’ the official Twitter handle of the INC on Monday, claimed that ‘Chinese deployment in Tibet is increasing at an alarming rate.’

In three points, the Congress party alleged that China has upped the ante after Doklam. The party alleged,

“Chinese training & air defence on high hight”

“Chinese air deployment extended to Sikkim sector”

“Surface to air missiles & unmanned aerial vehicles also deployed”

In a post, the Rahul Gandhi-led party wrote, “Chinese deployment in Tibet is increasing at an alarming rate. The Chinese now have an all-weather air deployment in Tibet. This is a huge departure from the past. Has Modi Govt totally failed in containing China? Where is the 'lal aankh' PM Modi had promised? #Dhokalam”

However, Here's Why Congress’ ‘Dhokalam’ Attack Lacks Meat:

  1. While the Congress claimed that China was building up extensive infrastructure in Doklam, top sources have told Republic TV that the Indian Army has successfully stopped the Chinese from building a critical road.
  2. While the Congress alleged that satellite image revealed that China was building up extensive infrastructure, sources have confirmed to Republic TV that after hectic diplomatic parleys, both sides decided to disengage.
  3. While the Rahul Gandhi-led party claimed that the Chinese training and air defence were on highlight near Doklam, it was infact the Indian Army which stepped into a territory on the request of a second country, as told by the sources to Republic TV.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi kicked off the BJP’s campaign in the poll-bound state of Karnataka on Sunday when he addressed thousands in a mega rally in Bengaluru. Moments after his rally, Congress MP and Rahul Gandhi's close aide Divya Spandana tweeted a 'POT' attack on PM Modi. The shocking comment by Ramya followed PM Modi's comment in a rally where he said farmers are his ‘top’ priority and described 'TOP' as tomato, onion, and potato.
