Ahead of the Assembly elections in Delhi, an internal fight in the Delhi Congress is out in the open and has caused a delay in announcing the president of Delhi Congress. Amidst the internal fight, son of former Chief Minister (CM) of Delhi, late Sheila Dikshit, Sandeep Dikshit wrote an explosive letter to party in-charge for Delhi, PC Chacko in which as per sources, Dikshit has alleged that PC Chacko mentally harassed Sheila Dikshit in her last days.
According to sources, Sandeep Dikshit stated that adverse political situations were created by PC Chacko for Sheila Dikshit. The said letter is still not out in open but the letter has already created a massive political controversy. When Republic TV spoke to Sandeep Dikshit about the letter, former parliamentarian from Delhi said that he has written the letter to PC Chacko in person and not as a Congress leader.
When informed that the letter has been sent to Sonia Gandhi, Dikshit responded, "You must go and ask PC Chacko about the letter. What has Sonia Gandhi got to do with this letter? I keep on writing letters to PC Chacko and now he has to think how he will respond to this. I have written to Chacko on this (harassment faced by Sheila Dikshit in her last days). If Chacko wants to make it public then let him make it public. It's a personal letter I have written to PC Chacko and if he wants to leak and talk about it that's his prerogative. It is improper that you write someone a personal letter and he reveals it. He is full of impropriety," said Sandeep Dikshit. "I have got no support base in Delhi, I am out of Delhi politics for the last five years" added Sandeep Dikshit
Delhi in-charge for the Congress party PC Chacko, has reacted to the letter written by Sandeep Dikshit where he said that the details of letter have been shared with other Congress leaders. "After reading the letter, I thought Congress persons should be aware of the letter, thus I informed. Only he (Sandeep Dikshit) can answer why he wrote the letter. How can I say he is okay with it? The letter cannot be put to waste paper basket, I have informed the Congress leaders about the letter. I have read the letter and I think the Congress men should know about this," said PC Chacko.
