JJP supports BJP to form government

Before BJP joined hands with JJP, there were speculations that the eleven-month-old party will support the Congress to form the government. Bhupinder Hooda had, as per sources, spoken to Dushyant Chautala soon after the results were declared in the Haryana polls. However, BJP managed to get JJP to form a coalition government.

Dushyant slams Congress

"I wish to ask Congress - 'Did we fight this battle together?' This mandate has been gifted to us against that of Congress. Congress is that party which was left by Chaudhari Lal Deviji in before 1970. Going with them is against Chaudhary Devi Lalji's thoughts. That person is leading Congress in Haryana who looted the state for 10 years and sold 63000 acres land. So two progressive thinking people are taking the state ahead."

BJP confirms won't take support from Gopal Kanda

BJP leader and Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad during a media briefing on Saturday after the MLA meeting in UT Guest House in Chandigarh confirmed that the party will not take Gopal Kanda's support to form the government. The BJP had faced backlash from the Opposition and its own leader Uma Bharti also questioned the move to take Kanda's support. Kanda is facing charges of abetment of suicide of a young air hostess who formerly worked in his company.

"I wish to make it clear that the party is not accepting any support from Gopal Kanda. That's all. The matter about who will be Deputy CM, how many deputy CMs will be appointed will be decided by the Chief Minister himself," said Prasad.
