Merely two days after the Congress demanded a Supreme Court-monitored probe into the death of special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) judge Justice B.H. Loya, a massive controversy has unfolded over the whistleblowers fielded by the Rahul Gandhi-led party.

During the course of the press conference by Congress’ Kapil Sibal, one name which was repeatedly highlighted was that of Satish Uke. However, in a Super exclusive newsbreak, Republic has exposed the controversial background of the Congress ‘whistleblowers.’ The Congress ‘whistleblower’ Satish Uke was accused of Contempt of Court in 2017.

According to Nagpur Police, Uke is the first lawyer in the city to have been convicted for contempt of court. Uke had made reckless allegations against sitting judges and lawyers.

Another name which came up during the press conference was of Suryakant Logale, the man flanked as a whistleblower by Congress party. Republic has learned that 10 cases are currently registered against Suryakant Logale between the period of 2009 and 2015. Cases have been registered for prostitution, criminal intimidation, dacoity, offences against a public servant, murder, and corruption.
