Following Christian Michel's extradition from Dubai to India, Republic TV has accessed the seven 'clinchers' on which the AgustaWestland middleman is likely to be confronted by the investigative agencies. In one the documents, which appears to be an agreement for kickbacks between Christian Michel's Dubai company Global Services FZE, and a 'family', Italian businessman Guido Haschke and Christian Michel have signed with their initials.

The clincher further mentions about two kickbacks - one worth 42 million Euros with Christian Michel's Global Services FZE and the other worth 28 million Euros that is supposed to be transferred to the 'family' .

Here's what the document states:

"We have had extensive discussions with Guido(which was struck down) on Sunday the 8th May, 2011 and it has come to light that there were 2 agreements in place with AW(AgustaWestland) which is where the misunderstanding has risen."

One agreement for 42 million Euros with Global Services FZE(Christian Michel's Dubai based company) and other for 28 million Euros with the 'family'.
The family want their agreement honored. As the 28 Million Euros has only just come to light it is unworkable at this late stage to take the 28 million Euros, from 42 million Euros as implied.

Guido agreed that 12 million Euros can be taken from the 42 million Euros and counted against the family's expected 28 million Euros."

As per sources, Christian Michel has already been confronted by the investigative agencies about his flight to India between 2008 and 2010. He will be produced to the Patiala House Court on Wednesday for further proceedings.

Michel was extradited to India under the guidance of NSA Ajit Doval, Director Incharge of CBI Nageswara Rao and CBI Joint Director Sai Manohar.

As per the statement issued by the Central Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday, Christian Michel James, who has been described as a historical consultant of AgustaWestland/Westland Helicopters, was a frequent visitor to India and was operating as a middleman for defence procurements through a wide network of sources cultivated in the IAF and MoD at different levels including retired and serving IAF Officials.

Involvement of Mr Christian Michel James in the purchase of VVIP helicopter by Government of India had surfaced in the year 2012 as middlemen for swinging the deal in favour of AgustaWestland and making illegal payment of commission/kickbacks to the Indian Authorities. Initially, the investigation conducted by Italian Authorities indicted him for offenses of international bribery/corruption. CBI took up the investigation and wanted him for investigation. However, he escaped from India and has been deliberately evading his presence from the investigating agency and also the due process of law in India. Hence, an open non-bailable arrest warrant dated 24.09.2015 was issued by the Special Judge, CBI Cases, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi.
