Moments after Congress president Rahul Gandhi's statement over the extradition of AgustaWestland middleman Christian Michel to India, Republic TV exclusively spoke tp opposition party MP Ahmed Patel on Wednesday in the matter. While responding to the questions of the reporters, Congress leader Ahmed Patel claimed that the truth will be out saying thar it is good that extradition has been done

"It is good that the extradition has been done. Now the truth will come out," he said. 

Earlier while answering the questions on Christian Michel's arrival to India, ​​​​​​Congress chief Rahul Gandhi raised the Rafale deal and had maintained that the Congress' position is clear in the matter. 

"The Congress party has made its postilion very very clear in this matter earlier in a press conference. Prime minister should explain why he gave Rs 30,000 crore to Mr. Anil Ambani," said Rahul Gandhi while speaking on the matter," Gandhi had said.

Furthermore, Congress MLA Randeep Singh Surjewala released a press statement on the matter and posted a series of tweets on social media wherein he wrote: 'BJP wants to ‘manufacture’ false evidence rather than discover the truth of their own ‘Corruption’ in the light of the extradition of Christian Michel to India:

MeanwhileCBI has been granted five days custody of Christian Michel by the Patiala House Court on Wednesday. It also came into the light that Supreme Court advocate and the "National incharge of the Indian youth Congress's legal department" Aljo K Joseph was Christian Michel's counsel in the Patiala House Court.

The court hearing also revealed that the CBI is tracking a conspiracy involving 37 million euros (about Rs 300 crore).
