A big controversy has been created from Harbhajan Singh's tweet where he celebrated India's successful launch of Chandrayaan 2, which was a mammoth feat in every way, on account of him making it about countries on their flags. His tweet said 'Some countries have Moons on their flags, others have flags on the Moon' and was vilified as having a religious connotation, particularly against one religion. However, the former Team India cricketer has clarified to Republic TV that there was no religious meaning behind his message and that he was only putting the Nation first.

Those backing Harbhajan Singh were clear that those opposing him had a history of targeting the Indian security forces, whom the off-spinner regularly extols on Twitter.

Read some of the tweets that make absolutely clear why 'Bhajji' may be a target for these people:

Harbhajan Singh tweeted in awe of the Indian Forces following its Surgical Strike operation against cross-border terrorists.

He also acknowledged the tireless work done by them during the Chennai floods rescue operations.
