Haryana: Home Minister Amit Shah to address four rallies in state

Ahead of Haryana elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to address election rallies in Faridabad, Samalkha, Bahadurgarh and Gurugram.

Ahead of Haryana elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to address election rallies in Faridabad, Samalkha, Bahadurgarh and Gurugram. Earlier on October 14, Shah had addressed rallies in Fatehabad, Sirsa and Hisar. Shah slammed Congress and said that it 'speaks the language of Pakistan' when it comes to subjects like the abrogation of Article 370. Shah said that the whole country welcomed the government's decision and was happy about it.

Shah slams opposition

Union Minister Amit Shah further slammed the opposition and said that the Modi government has put a severe dent in the opposition's 'vote bank politics' by revoking Article 370. In addition, Amit Shah also hit out at former Chief Minister of Haryana Bhupinder Singh Hooda won the elections from Rohtak. He also hit out at the previous Congress regime as 'corruption-ridden'. The BJP's manifesto for Haryana elections has made a range of promises like launching the Haryana start-up mission, constitution of a new 'Yuva Vikas and Rozgar' ministry and one All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and doubling of farmers' income by 2022 and increase in pension. Back in 2014 state elections, the BJP bagged 47 out of the 90 seats while the Congress was reduced to 15 seats. The assembly elections in Haryana will be held on October 21 and the results are due to be declared on October 24.

Amit Shah predicts massive win in Harayana and Maharashtra elections

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Amit Shah spoke to Republic Media Network's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami. the BJP president said that his party will win with two-third majority in both the states. He also asserted that there is nothing wrong with national issues being the subject of discussion in the state polls. He also quoted several developmental works undertaken in the states of Haryana and Maharashtra in the five years of BJP rule, Shah said that both the CMs - Devendra Fadnavis of Maharashtra and Manohar Lal Khattar of Haryana has taken their respective states to a new trajectory of growth. 

"As far as elections in Maharashtra and Haryana are concerned, BJP is in a good position. In both the states, we are going to form our government with two-third majority. Both the state governments and respective Chief Ministers of both the states have done good work during their five years' tenure. They had acquired a government stained with corruption, but in five years, there have been no corruption charges against them."
