Omar Abdullah has time and again criticised the Central government for the step they take in the state. Earlier, he had termed the decision to close Jammu-Srinagar national highway for civilian traffic a proof of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's failure to manage the internal security of Jammu and Kashmir.
"Another 1st for the Modi government after the 1st ever delayed assembly election now this shocker - never before in 30 years has the national highway ever been closed for civilian traffic like this," the National Conference vice-president had tweeted.
NC had also dumped the Congress party after the poll debacle wherein NC won 3 out of 6 seats in the state, whereas Congress failed to fetch any seats in the state.
Meanwhile, the Home Minister visited the Anantnag martyr's family. Taking to Twitter, he also shared pictures of his meeting with the family.
