Hours after Republic TV's sensational news break of at least three Congress MLAs camping in Mumbai's Powai hotel for unknown and as-yet-undisclosed reasons, Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis will meet and speak to the 'rebellious' leaders.

Following the news of the three legislators, senior Karnataka Congress leader DK Shivakumar left for Mumbai to talk to these leaders camping in Mumbai and also issued a statement attempting to play down talk of any crisis:

Speaking to reporters, DK Shivakumar said that "Three people (MLAs) are in Mumbai. Whom they have gone to meet I don't know. I know which hotel they're staying in also. Everyone is working in their constituencies. Some names are being pulled in unwantedly. BC Patil is busy running around inviting people to attend his marriage. It is unfortunate that his name too is being dragged. They've gone for some reason, maybe to take rest. I don't want to disclose that information now"

Furthermore, sources have told Republic TV that BJP will be sending party leaders including B S Yeddyurappa, K S Eshwarappa and Jagadish Shettar to meet the Congress MLAs in Karnataka and bring them to a 5-star resort in Haryana's Gurugram area, where Karnataka BJP leaders have been alleged kept in hidden by the party until further information in an attempt to shield them from 'poaching' allegations.

Sources have also told Republic TV that security has been beefed up at the Gurugram hotel after BJP's Yeddyurappa made a call to Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar.

Alleging that the ruling JD(S)-Congress coalition was trying to lure its MLAs in Karnataka, state BJP president B S Yeddyurappa Monday said its 104 legislators are "united" and will camp in the national capital.

Yeddyurappa assertion comes hours after Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy stuck to his allegation that the BJP was trying to lure MLAs of the ruling combine and expressed confidence that none of them would switch sides.
