Jyotiraditya Scindia joins PM Modi in BJP poster in Bhind, M.P

A poster of Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah was put up in Madhya Pradesh. The poster was put up in Bhind area of Madhya Pradesh. It was put up by the BJP Bhind District Coordinator. Earlier, Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia has voiced his support towards Modi government's decision to revoke special status to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 and said, the decision was in country's interest. 

Congress leaders support abrogation of Article 370

Scindia was not the only Congress leader supporting the decision, Milind Deora a senior congress leader also supported the government's decision on Article 370 and said, "Put aside ideological fixations and debate what's best for India's sovereignty and federalism, peace in J&K, jobs for Kashmiri youth and justice for Kashmiri Pandits." Another Congress leader Deepender Hooda had tweeted in support of the decision.

Jyotiraditya Scindia says loan waivers promised to farmers has not been fulfilled

In another move, Jyotiraditya Scindia revealed that the loan waivers promised to farmers in Madhya Pradesh by the Congress has not been fulfilled.

"The second thing is that the loan waiver has not been provided. Only 50,000 of the 2 lakh rupees promised as a loan waiver have been provided. The loan waiver should be given to the farmers. We had promised it," he said.

'Congress needs  self-introspection'

The senior Congress leader on Thursday, in a public statement, said that the Congress party need 'self-introspection'. 

"I never make statements based on anyone else's statement. You must ask those who made the statement for an explanation on it. But there is no doubt that Congress needs self-introspection. Time has demanded that Congress must inspect its actions and must improve on it," he said.

Congress promises loan waivers and reservation

The Congress on Friday released its poll manifesto for the Haryana assembly polls, promising loan waiver for farmers and reservation for women in government jobs. The party also promised 50 per cent reservation for women in Panchayati Raj institution, municipality corporations and city councils.
