After BJP managed to make in-roads in West Bengal, the territorial chief minister of her state, Mamata Banerjee accused the saffron party of using 'money and muscular power'
In the on-going Mamata-BJP row, the Trinamool supremo called out the BJP of acting 'unconstitutional' towards people and blocking other political parties.
She said, "We fought bravely. They used money power, muscle power. Congress and CPI(M) vote-share has been shifted. We will fight even more harder this time. We didn't block anyone's office ever. We never used muscle power ever. What BJP is doing will not support the Constitution and the people. They blocked other political party officers. We will do a campaign at a party level."
Referring to the poll violence that unleashed in the state throughout the Lok Sabha 2019 elections, Banerjee accused the BJP of instigating the same, along with that blamed them for disseminating fake news.
She said, "BJP spreading fake news in entire country that in Bengal things are not cool. Violence is at its peak in Bengal. No constitution in Bengal. They are spreading these fake news. They insulting Bengal in front of country."
Hours after the Government released a revised draft for the National Education Policy 2019, Banerjee stated that 'regional language is the first priority' batting for 'freedom of choice'
She said, "Regional language is the first priority. Freedom of choice should be there. I will always support for regional language. They cannot interfere in everything."
"They spread fake videos against Bengal in country. BJP will be exposed soon. What is the meaning of Jai Siya Ram. I will tell you. BJP removed sita from the name Sita Ram. I will not dance on the tune Jai Sri Ram. Media is dancing on the tune of BJP. Why BJP is not taking Sita name along with Ram. They removed Sita from Ram. Even Mahatama Gandhi said Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram, Patitapava Sita Ram. But BJP removed Sita from Ram."
Making inroads in the state, BJP won 18 out of state's 42 Lok Sabha seats, Congress won 2 and the ruling Trinamool won 22 seats.
