Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Saturday addressed the national meet of Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini Mandal in Bhubaneshwar. In his address, Bhagwat spoke about the uniqueness of RSS and stressed that the Sangh does not aim to be a dominant Hindu institution but instead aims to take forward all the institutions of the society together. He said that Sangh did not have any hierarchy even though it persists as an institution and that there is no power of authority in the Sangh to determine if anyone is at greater position or smaller one. He also added that there is no other institution like the RSS in the entire world and he would love to see another similar institution exist but there is not any.

"No institution like RSS," says Mohan Bhagwat

The RSS chief in his address said, "There is no institution like the RSS in the world, we would be delighted if an institution like RSS existed, but there isn't. Some people say that I am at number one position and that I am at number two but there is no hierarchy in the Sangh. No doubt, we are an institution but there is no hierarchy. This is because we distribute the entire work amongst ourselves in the Sangh. There is no power of authority that proves someone is big or someone is small. RSS does not want to be a dominant institution among Hindu institution, Sangh (RSS) wants to take forward all the institutions together."

Bhagwat also spoke about the significance of a common man in a country's future and said that a common man plays the primary role in a country's future. He said, "If you want to change the future of a country, then politicians, government, people, thoughts and strategies do play a role but this is just a secondary role that they play. The primary role is of society's common man. When a common man sets certain duties and standards for himself to perform for the country, then all these aspects come together to give a boost to the country's future."
