With less than five months to go for the Lok Sabha polls, Republic TV and CVoter have released the National Approval Ratings to give a complete national picture as to who will win if polls are held on December 1, 2018. Here's the projection for Sikkim for the last month of the year 2018:

As per the National Approval Ratings in December, the SDF which held the single seat in 2014 will continue to hold NDA is set to retain it for the NDA.

In this month, the NDA gets 49.3% votes while the INC bags 15.7% votes. The others receive 35% of the vote share.

In November too, the NDA had a clean sweep prediction in the state via the SDF. It was projected to win 48.9% of the votes whereas the INC was projected to win 19.1%. Others were projected to get 32% of the vote share.

In October, NDA was projected to win 54% votes, the INC was projected to win 1.6%. The others were projected to win 44.5% of the vote share. The SDF was projected to bag the lone seat.

In 2014, the NDA received 55.3% vote share whereas the INC got 2.3%, and Others had got 42.3% votes.

The SDF has always clung on to hold this seat right since the 2004 elections.

A month by month analysis shows that the NDA is gaining marginally based on vote share from the previous month. In comparison with 2014, the numbers of the BJP plus alliance has lost 6%. Based on vote share alone, Congress is the loser in December due to the drop of 3.4% as compared to the previous month numbers.
