'People will cast Trinamool into Bay of Bengal soon,' says MoS Babul Supriyo slamming WB CM Mamata Banerjee's renewed 'Choor Choor' attack

Reacting to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's controversial speech, Union Minister and BJP leader Babul Supriyo, on Wednesday, has said Banerjee's threats to BJP signifies her 'expiry date' is nearing adding that Bengal will throw out her TMC into the Bay of Bengal sooner.

Reacting to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's controversial speech, Union Minister and BJP leader Babul Supriyo, on Wednesday, has said Banerjee's threats to BJP signifies her 'expiry date' is nearing adding that Bengal will throw out her TMC into the Bay of Bengal sooner.

He also slammed Banerjee for saying hateful remarks on the occasion of Eid saying that she had no respect for any religion and no judgment of what to say at a particular moment adding that Bengal was ashamed to call her Chief Minister.

Earlier in the day, while addressing a prayer meeting on the occasion of Eid in Kolkata, Trinamool Chief Mamata Banerjee raised her "Choor Choor" remarks once again. 

Addressing the gathering, she said: "Tyaag ka naam hai Hindu, Imaan ka naam hai Musalman, Pyaar ka naam hai Isaai, Sikhon ka naam hai Balidan. Ye hai hamara pyaara Hindustan. Iski raksha humlog karenge. Jo humse takraega wo choor choor ho jaega. Ye hamara slogan hai". 

(Sacrifice stands for Hindu, faith stands for Muslim, love stands for Christian, Sikh stands for sacrifice. This is our beloved India. We will protect this country. Those who will fight with us will be broken into pieces. This is our slogan.)

Later, in a veiled attack at the PM Modi and BJP who won the mandate in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Mamata Banerjee asserted that they won the polls by "capturing" the EVM, claiming that they will go away soon. Mamata Banerjee also recited the famous Urdu Shayari to validate her statement: Muddai lakh bura chahe to kya hota hai, Woho hota hai jo manjure khuda hota hai.

"There is nothing to be scared. Muddai Lakh bura chahe to kya hota hai, wahi hota hai jo manzoor-e-khuda hota hai. Sometimes when the sun rises, its rays are very harsh but later it fades away. Don't be scared, the faster they captured EVMs, the quicker they will go away," the Trinamool chief said.

The Trinamool chief has been embroiled in a battle with the saffron party raising objections to 'Jai Shri Ram' chants raised at her convoy, claiming RSS' enforcement of its Hindutva ideology in the state. Her party has also been involved in several violent clashes with BJP workers during the polls and post-poll rallies on several issues, while her own MLAs and corporators have been defecting to the saffron party in droves.
