Merely a few moments after Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered his explosive speech in the Lok Sabha, Congress president Rahul Gandhi responded by stating that ‘there was nothing new in his speech.’
Rahul Gandhi said,
“He spoke for more than 1 hour but didn't speak a word on Rafale deal, or on farmers or on employment for youth. It was a totally political speech, like a campaign speech. But PM Modi failed to comment on issues of unemployment.”
Earlier on Wednesday, amidst increasing uproar and sloganeering, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Lok Sabha.
During the course of his address, PM Modi slammed the method of dynastic politics being adapted by the Rahul Gandhi-led Congress party and further blamed the party for partition, says 'you divided the nation for selfish gains.'
"We cannot forget how the Congress insulted Shri Neelam Sanjiva Reddy, a proud son of Andhra Pradesh. They humiliated him. Nobody in India needs lessons on democracy from the Congress Party," he said.
