Update at 1:57 PM:

Prime Minister Modi addresses the Mega Rally in Ajmer:

I am more a Party worker than a PM. I will always be available for my Party. I have registered Rajasthan people's love already. I am getting positive energy being in Rajasthan today. I am energized with the kind of support I am getting from all of you. On one side, there is vote bank politics on another side we have agenda of 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas'. Those who do vote bank politics enjoy dividing the country.

There are people who love to do Hindu-Muslim politics, caste politics, urban-rural politics. They are doing mere vote bank politics. It's easy to break people but it will take years to take everyone together. Those who are doing vote bank politics they will not succeed in their motives.

Congress is behind vote bank politics culture. They are only doing 'Parivar politics'. They won't help the people.

What happened to the Congress party? Why you are stooping so low? They questioned surgical strike, now they are criticising surgical strike day. Shame on them.

We made a strong law on rape. We should talk about rape less, but we should have to focus on the death penalty more so that there will be a fear in those culprit minds.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all geared up for his rally in the poll-bound state of Rajasthan at 1 PM on Saturday as a part of his electoral campaign. He will address a public rally in Ajmer on the completion of Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje's 'Gaurav Yatra' which she had begun in August. BJP leader Vasundhara Raje became the Chief Minister of Rajasthan when the party won 160 seats out of 200 seats in 2013 Assembly elections.

The prime minister will also visit the Brahma temple in Pushkar, the party's state chief Madan Lal Saini said.

"Nearly three lakh party workers will attend the historic rally in Ajmer," Mr Saini said at a press conference.

He added that PM Modi will guide the party workers with regards to the upcoming Assembly polls in the state. Mr. Saini said Ms Raje's yatra which began from the Charbhujanath temple in Rajsamand district under Udaipur division has received a good response. As the chief minister was not able to cover Bharatpur division during her yatra, she will later hold public dialogues there, he informed.

While 2019 General elections being right around the corner, Assembly elections are going to take place in several states over the next couple of months. With an eye on assembly polls due later this year, BJP president Amit Shah in Indore will formally launch the party's mass contact campaign in the crurcial region of Madhya Pradesh. Amit Shah will launch the 'Maha Jansampark Abhiyan' from historic Rajwada area and walk for nearly 15 minutes up to Krishnapura Chhatri area to appeal people in the dense commercial area to vote for the BJP.
