PM Modi's Nashik rally to end Maha CM Fadnavis's 'Mahajanadesh Yatra'

According to BJP sources, PM Modi will be addressing a rally on September 19 in Maharashtra's Nashik on the concluding day of CM Fadnavis's Mahajanadesh Yatra

According to the BJP sources, PM Modi will be addressing a rally in Maharashtra's Nashik city on September 19, the day which also marks the conclusion of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis' 'Mahajanadesh Yatra'. Maharashtra BJP Secretary Laxman Savji on Wednesday said that the preparations for PM Modi's Nashik rally, which will be held in Tapovan locality, are going on in full swing.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a rally on September 19 to mark the conclusion of the 'Mahajanadesh Yatra' at a ground in Tapovan locality," he said.

CM Devendra Fadnavis's roadshow in Nashik

A day prior to PM Modi's September 19 rally in Nashik, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will hold a roadshow in Nashik on September 18 covering all the three assembly segments - Nashik East, Nashik West, and Nashik Central. Currently, all three Legislative Assembly regions are being held by the BJP MLAs.

The 'Mahajanadesh Yatra' is being held in phases in a bid to reach out and connect with the masses ahead of the Legislative Assembly Elections which are slated to be held in October this year.

Before his rallies in Nashik, PM Modi is all set to address a rally in Jharkhand on Thursday. On September 7, PM Modi addressed a gathering at Mumbai's BKC and also laid foundation stones for three new metro lines in the city. While in Mumbai, PM Modi praised CM Devendra Fadnavis for the speedy execution of projects. 

Parties join hands for 2019 Maharashtra elections

2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections will see Shiv Sena and BJP coalition contesting the polls together once again. Congress and NCP will also be contesting the polls under a coalition. With coalitions being announced by all the major parties in the State, the seat-sharing ratio is yet to be announced. Other details like the list of candidates will follow soon. Election Commission of India is yet to announce the poll dates for Maharashtra and the dates are expected to be announced soon.
