Taking a dig at the Congress-led Opposition for trying to accuse the Modi government of corruption, MoS (Independent) Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, in an exclusive to Republic TV, has stated that his party has been subjected to 'manufactured lies'.

Speaking on the 'Nation Wants to Know' with Republic TV's editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami, months ahead of the much-awaited Lok Sabha polls, the former MoS Ministry of Information & Broadcasting set records straight on the matter of corruption, and how false allegations have been thrown at the BJP.

"The opposition cannot digest the fact that how can this 5 years run without a scam. And therefore, they can't digest that we are much cleaner than them. Repeatedly speaking a particular sentence cannot manufacture a lie," he said.

The shooter-turned politician also highlighted the achievement of his government on their fight against corruption, and mentioned the changes that have taken place in the country post 2014.

"This country in the past many years was sort of being emptied from within. It was termites who was eating the very foundations of this country and it is time now that each and every family in each and every village sees the change that has happened and that is what is going to make India strong, internationally, nationally, regionally, locally. When you talk about corruption, the word is not limited to the newspaper headlines. This corruption is what deprives a small family of its dues and that is what we have worked on. Every single Panchayat in this country can see the difference because schemes have reached them. So governance has worked, corruption has reduced. Every single sector has been worked on," Col Rathore added.
