Republic Super Exclusive: Big Proof Of Lalu’s Corruption Nexus

In a massive political newsbreak, Republic TV has accessed a 112-page I-T report submitted to the CBI which exposes Lalu Yadav's corruption web. The report dated September 16, 2017, by the Income Tax Department in Delhi nails Lalu Yadav and his family in the land for hotel scam. The report exposes how Lalu awarded a hotel contract in Ranchi to Sujata group and in return was gifted a 3-acre plush property where he had a grand plan of building a mall.

The 112-page report accessed exclusively by Republic TV exposes how Lalu Yadav and his family benefited in a pro quo arrangement by awarding contracts of 2 railway properties in Ranchi to Puri and Sujata Group of hotels. In return, the hoteliers gave the family 3 acres of commercial land in a prime location in Patna.

Furthermore, the report adds that while Lalu Yadav became the Railway Minister in May 2004, the contract for the management and development of BNR hotels was awarded to Sujata Hotels Pvt.Ltd through a rigged and manipulated process, on February 25, 2005.

According to the I-T report, land purchases were made through bogus transactions and property was property was transferred through shares to Lalu's family, after he demitted office in 2009. Furthermore, the report states that Rs one crore was transferred to Rabri Devi’s account and by their son-in-law.
