In a massive political super sting, Republic TV’s Prema Sridevi exposes the lies and actions of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP Diwakar Reddy, fifteen days after his assault on an airline staffer and creating a ruckus at the Visakhapatnam airport.

Admitting that he was in a “hurry mood”, the Minister claimed that he did not push the IndiGo staff, but had “only touched him in a friendly manner”.

On being questioned on the assault, the Minister agreed that “it is true,” adding that, the airline staff did not issue a ticket to him even after “I requested him 2 to 3 times.”

The sting also exposed how the Minister, in a fit of rage, wanted to vandalise the area.  “I was a little emotional. Actually, I wanted to throw that printer. I could not do it. [So I] slowly and gently, kept it on the table,” the Minister said.

However, the biggest takeaway from the sting was the MP’s admission that a Minister helped him get a boarding pass following the ruckus. “He called the station manager and told him, 'just see what Mr. Reddy says.' and to ‘look into it’”, the MP was caught saying on tape.

When the contradiction of the same Minister ordering a probe into the incident was pointed out, Mr. Reddy, with no definite answer, said, “He is not a politician. He is an officer. He doesn’t work like a politician, he works like an officer.”
