SHOCKING: After A Karyakarta Washes His Feet And Drinks The Water, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey Posts About It Proudly

Words aren't sufficient to describe a case of high-VVIP racism that has emerged from Jharkhand's Godda, where a BJP MP has engaged in, facilitated, encouraged, and, in fact, championed, an extraordinary servile practice.

In visuals of an event that have been accessed, and even shared by MP Nishikant Dubey, a party karyakarta can be seen addressing the gathering and praising Dubey who is seated behind him. Then, after Dubey stands up, the karyakarta makes to wash his feet, doing so with great care in a copper plate. The karyakarta then wipes Dubey's feet with a cloth, and even as people record him on video, the karyakarta consumes some of the water and uses the rest to give himself what resembles a blessing.

The event was taking place at the Kanhwara village and was held to felicitate Dubey over the construction of a bridge. Following the event, Dubey went on to champion the medieval mindset that was on display by posting it on social media. In his post, Dubey wrote:

"Today I consider myself a very small karyakarta. BJP's great karyakarta Pavan Singh, in his happiness over the bridge, washed my feet and kept his word by drinking the water in front of thousands. I wish I get this opportunity after my Mother and Father."

Congress MLA from Haryana and national media in-charge Randeep Surjewala took up the issue, attacking the BJP and calling the act an 'inhumane and insulting practice':

"Has the arrogance of BJP leaders reached such a zenith that they want karyakartas and common people to wash their feet and drink that water? Is it even humane in the 21st century? And the manner and fashion in which instead of apologising, BJP leader Nishikant Dubey who is PM's favourite is justifying washing of his feet and drinking of that water by BJP karyakartas is even more appalling. For him to compare himself with Lord Krishna reflects that BJP now believes that they have achieved a God-like status. Is this the sanskaar and sanskriti of the BJP that Modiji and Amit Shah speak about? Will they take action on Nishikant Dubey?"
