A day after Chief Minister of Karnataka lashed out on protesters during his village visit, former CM and Congress leader Siddaramaih lambasted the people in an event asking them why they vote for the Modi government.
In the video, Siddaramaiah is heard saying:
"In Badami, BJP got a lead of 9000 votes, I don't understand why you people are voting for them. What work have they done? We built the panchayat building. Had your MP come to do this for you? But you will just vote for them. We gave you rice, we gave you clothes."
Incidentally, while he was speaking when someone from the crowd objected, Siddaramaih said: "You keep quiet, either stand here quietly or go."
He continued, "You decide if you will stand quietly or leave. Keep quiet (yells). Will you?
Former Karnataka CM then went on to lash out on the Police and said:
"Don't take him out, shouldn't do things like that. We gave rice, milk for children, books for school, uniforms, subsidy for milk, crop loan waiver. What have they (BJP) done? They haven't done a thing and people are still voting for them."
Karnataka Chief Minister on Wednesday shouted at protesters in Raichur during his village stay and mocks them of voting Narendra Modi.
In Raichur, the Karnataka CM and JD(S) chief whose bus was brought to halt by protesters said: "Vote for Narendra Modi , go go vote for him."
In the visuals HDK can be seen shouting on the protesters while being seated on a bus. A protestor was heard saying 'why don't you pour petrol on us and kill us instead.
"Go and vote for Narendra Modi. Go vote for Modi. Learn to show some respect. He then indicates the driver to move ahead. The protestor then expresses their faith in HDK and says that he has betrayed them. The Karnataka CM again shouts on the protesters in a shameless display of his arrogance.
Siddaramaiah contested the from the Badami constituency of Karnataka during the assembly elections.
