Earlier on Tuesday,  Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the act by the son of senior BJP leader Kailash Vijayavargiya, at the BJP Parliamentary meeting.

BJP Local Leaders Who Garlanded Akash Vijayvargiya Earlier Change Their Stand On The Brat After PM Modi Pulls Him Up For Assault On Civic Authorities

Following the Prime Minister's warning, several local party leaders claimed on Tuesday that Vijayvargiya was not welcomed upon his release.

Akash, son of BJP general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya, was recorded attacking civil authorities with a cricket bat, who did not show any remorse even after his arrest. After the MLA was released on bail, he was welcomed with garlands at the local BJP office. Some pictures showed a garlanded Akash being offered sweets by local BJP leader Gopikrishna Nema. Indore-2 MLA Ramesh Mendola and other party leaders were also present.

"I had gone to the district jail Sunday morning to bring Akash and took him home. We did not host the welcome function. We even don't have permission for such a reception," said Mendola, a close friend of Kailash Vijayvargiya.

BRAZEN: 'My First Experience In Jail Was Good,' Says Kailash Vijayvargiya's Son Akash Showing No Remorse After His Release From Jail For Thrashing Civic Authorities With A Bat

BJP MLA Akash Vijayvargiya was released from jail on Sunday on bail and he brazenly stated that he has 'no regret' for the incident, trivialising the issue. He was charged under the sections IPC 353 147, 148.

On last Wednesday, the MLA was caught going after the civic official with a bat and thrashing him. He also hurled abuses at him. The civic officials were in the district to bring down an illegal structure when Akash entered the scene and began the assault. When the police, who initially kept mum, intervened, Akash continued to assault the civic official, and even others joined in. He was arrested and then detained bail initially.
