Master political strategist and JDU leader Prashant Kishor, who chalked out campaign strategies for BJP, Congress and JDU, in an explosive interview with Republic TV's editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami, has made the biggest political disclosure. Prashant Kishor has revealed that the Congress high command wanted Priyanka Gandhi out of 2017 Uttar Pradesh campaign.

Here's what he told Republic TV's editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami on this matter:

Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief: That takes away the biggest question mark, now there is only one thing that remains.

Prashant Kishor, JD (U) Vice President: What?

Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief: Projecting Priyanka Gandhi in the UP campaign.

Prashant Kishor, JD (U) Vice President:  No, that was Discussed.

Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief: It was discussed?

Prashant Kishor, JD (U) Vice President:  It was discussed in June.

Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief: Tell Me, Tell Me About It, Discussed Where?

Prashant Kishor, JD (U) Vice President:  It was discussed at the highest level.

Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief: Discussed at the highest level, then what?

Prashant Kishor, JD (U) Vice President:  but in June...

Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief: and then what?

Prashant Kishor, JD (U) Vice President:  No, I am telling you...

Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief: No, I am persuasive.

Prashant Kishor, JD (U) Vice President:  You have to let me answer this.

Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief: No, but you are quickly answering 'a Yes' and moving on to something else. Tell me about Priyanka Gandhi.

Prashant Kishor, JD (U) Vice President: No. I am saying, that in June.

Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief: Priyanka Gandhi. Projecting Priyanka Gandhi?

Prashant Kishor, JD (U) Vice President:  It was a part of the proposal but It was never approved, So I couldn't say that Congress backed out.

Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief: So you are saying that making Priyanka Gandhi, a face of the campaign, was a proposal that could not have gone through without Priyanka Gandhi's own consent?

Prashant Kishor, JD (U) Vice President:  That, you should ask her.

Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief: I will, when I meet her.

Prashant Kishor, JD (U) Vice President:  Yes, you should.

Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief: But, it was not approved in the highest level by whom? Sonia Gandhi?

Prashant Kishor, JD (U) Vice President: I don't Know.

Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief: So, This is a huge headline. This is a huge headline. People are watching this. So making Priyanka Gandhi... projecting her in the UP campaign was a proposal you were for, but it was not approved. This much you have said already, you have conceded, this much you have said.

Prashant Kishor, JD (U) Vice President:  When we were on the drawing board, a lot of things could have been there for the discussion.

Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief: Yes

Prashant Kishor, JD (U) Vice President:  I do not find fault if they have rejected 1 or 2 or 5 of It.

Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief: I am Not...

Prashant Kishor, JD (U) Vice President: What happened is that, in the end of June, we had a 14 Module Campaign which did not have Priyanka Gandhi as a CM.

Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief: As a campaigner.

Prashant Kishor, JD (U) Vice President: As a campaigner, yes, she was there.

Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief: As a face?

Prashant Kishor, JD (U) Vice President:  No, she was to be one of the chief campaigners.

Arnab Goswami, Editor-in-chief: She was to be one of the chief campaigners, but it was rejected.

Prashant Kishor, JD (U) Vice President:  No, but it was approved. But then it didn't happen.
