Congress has responded to Rahul Gandhi using his phone and speaking in the Parliament on Thursday during President Ram Nath Kovind's speech.

He even spoke to his mother and Congress chairperson during the speech asking her to stop applauding the President's speech when he talked about surgical strikes

Congress spokesperson Anand Sharma talked about the charges of the Congress president being disrespectful saying, "He was listening to what was important, there were certain queries about certain Hindi words which were not heard clearly. There was no disrespect on his part. I think it is very frivolous of the party to make such a comment. If the footage is taken half of the BJP president will be seen talking to each other."
