BJP president Amit Shah took a dig at the Gandhi-Vadra family for the appointment of another Gandhi scion into politics, Priyanka Gandhi. While addressing a rally in Una, Himachal Pradesh, Shah redefined the term OROP from 'One Rank One Pension' to 'Only Rahul and Only Priyanka'

In the same breath, the president affirmed that PM Narendra Modi's government has succeeded to deliver the 'One Rank One Pension' (OROP)

"For more than 70 years, no one cared about the jawans, when Narendra Modi-government came to power, we introduced One Rank One Pension (OROP). However, the Congress also follows OROP, but for them it is 'Only Rahul Only Priyanka',” said the BJP president.

Shah lashed out at the Congress party for not being able to eradicate poverty for four generations.

He said, "Even now, you will see Congress president speaking of issues of poverty in his speeches. I would like to ask Rahul baba what did the Congress party do for 55 years, what did their four generations do? It's only us who are making efforts to eliminate poverty."

He further attacked Rahul Gandhi by reiterating how there is a need for "majboot sarkar and not majboor sarkar"

Amit Shah while kicking off his campaign in Himachal Pradesh, addressed the open endorsement for the Tukde Tukde gang by the Congress party after invited those named in the 2016 JNU Sedition case to an event to remember Mahatma Gandhi on his 72nd martyrdom anniversary on Monday.

He said, "While Modi ji promotes 'Make in India, Rahul is busy with 'Break in India'."

However, hours after Republic TV's sensational newsbreak on Congress endorsing the Tukde Tukde Gang member Kanhaiya Kumar, the Rahul Gandhi-led party has backtracked from its decision and removed Kumar's name from the invitation.

In the latest invitation to the event, released by the All India Congress Committee, Kanhaiya Kumar's named had been omitted.

The BJP chief visited Una district in Himachal Pradesh to address the Panna Pramukh Sammelan.
